THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR EACH ROUND IS THE IMMEDIATE FRIDAY AT 5PM BEFORE EACH ROUND.*

Registration and Check-in: On the day of competition, all players must: 

1. check-in thirty (30) minutes prior to their scheduled tee time to be eligible for participation in the tournament;

2. report to their starting tee box, ten minutes prior to their scheduled tee time;

3. if a player arrives at his tee, ready to play, but late, but within five minutes of their starting time, a two (2) stroke penalty will be assessed on their first hole; 

4. if a player arrives to their tee more than five (5) minutes late (of their scheduled starting time), but not more than 10 minutes late (of their scheduled starting time), he/she will receive a score of 10 on that hole; 

5. players arriving more than 10 minutes after their scheduled tee time will be disqualified from the tournament.

 

General Release: By registering a player, the parent or guardian, for themselves and the player, agrees to release the Dade Amateur Golf Association, event courses, inclusive of their officers, directors, volunteers, contractors, and employees, from any and all liability for any event, consequence, theft, damage, or other loss whatsoever, in any way arising out of or relating to participation in The First Tee Miami – Winter Series. In case of emergency during this series, I authorize a qualified medical doctor to take all necessary measures in the treatment of the player. If, as a result of an act of God, it becomes necessary to cancel any or all of the tournaments after its beginning, there will be no refunds of registration or entry fees. By registering a player, the parent or guardian agrees to waive any claims to a refund.

By registering a player, the parent or guardian, for themselves and the player, is providing The First Tee Miami and Dade Amateur Golf Association the right to use their image and the player’s image, photo, likeness, or video image for any use, including without limitation, for promotional, marketing, advertising, website and any other use in perpetuity.

 

 

Code of Conduct: Violations include profanity, abusive language, club throwing, cheating, disrespect of volunteers or officials, abuse to the golf course or the facilities, littering, caddie violations, or any other conduct unbecoming of a player. The First Tee Miami Rules Committee may assess any or all of the following penalties based on the severity and/or frequency of the violation(s).

• First and Subsequent offenses: One-stroke penalty for each code of conduct violation.
• Immediate disqualification from the tournament or tournament series.
• Repeated or severe violations may lead to rejection of future The First Tee Miami events.
• Required to submit a written apology to The First Tee Miami and/or other members in their group.
